Adjusting metal sunglasses isn’t too tough—you just have to handle your frames with care. Here are simple instructions for adjusting both your nose pads (a standard feature with metal frames, though sometimes less common with other frame materials) and the arms (temples) of your frame.

1. Adjusting nose pads: Firmly grasp the bridge (the part between the two lenses) of your sunglasses with the thumb and index finger of one hand. Make sure the temples are facing you and the lenses are facing away.
a. Gently grasp a nose pad with the thumb and index finger of the other hand and adjust its position.
b. Repeat with the second nose pad if you need to adjust both.

2. Adjusting temples: Hold your metal sunglasses so the lenses are close to you and the arms are facing away.
a. Grasp the long part of the frame arm with one hand.
b. Place the four fingers of your other hand under the temple of one arm, so your index finger is positioned where the temple currently curves.
c. Then, gently move the part that goes behind your ear up or down to find the best angle for a comfortable fit. You may have to adjust and try on more than once to find the most comfortable angle.
