Light-responsive

These lenses transition to grey, brown, green, or blue when exposed to UV rays. They also reduce glare and filter more blue light than our classic optical lenses. Signature light-responsive lenses become fully clear indoors and cost an additional $170. We also offer Transitions® XTRActive® lenses, which transition in the car. They're our darkest light-responsive lenses outdoors and maintain a very subtle tint indoors. Add them to any frame for an additional $245.

Lens materials

We offer three high-quality options, so you can pick the one that’s ideal for your prescription strength.
  • Classic

Our most popular option, these lightweight lenses are made of durable polycarbonate. They come standard for all optical orders and are included in the price of our eyeglasses.

  • Thinner

Recommended for anyone with a strong prescription (+/-4.0 or higher total power), 1.67 high-index lenses are up to 20% thinner than polycarbonate lenses. These cost an additional $60.

Anti-reflective coating

This coating does double duty: It eliminates glare from your lenses and eases eye strain caused by reflections.

Smudge-resistant coating

Our lenses are also treated with a superhydrophobic coating—which means they repel moisture to help prevent smudging.

UV protection

Our lenses block 100% of UVA and UVB rays, for an extra layer of protection in your day to day.
