HSA FAQ

What is a health savings account?

A health savings account is also known as an HSA. It’s a benefit offered by your employer that provides you with funds to pay for selected medical expenses. If you’re unsure whether or not you have an HSA, please check with your employer or insurance company.

What can I purchase with my HSA?

You can use your HSA to pay for any medical expenses that are eligible medical expenses under the Income Tax Act (Canada). This includes Warby Parker prescription eyewear (progressives too!) and prescription sunglasses.

If you would like to use your HSA card to pay for a portion of your purchase and apply the remaining balance to a different card, please call us at 888.492.7297, Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–9 p.m. ET. We’re happy to set that up.

What’s the best way to place my HSA order?

You can place an order online using your HSA card, or give us a ring at 888.492.7297, Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–9 p.m. ET.

Can I buy prescription sunglasses with my HSA?

Yes!
