Applying to Warby Parker
Our interviews are an avenue for us to learn about you (and you about us)—from your skills and qualifications to the not-on-paper details that make you you.
Our interviewing approach
We use a structured interview framework, which means our interviewers ask a set of competency-based questions in a specific order and evaluate your responses against a pre-established rubric. It may sound different from job interviews you’ve done before, and that’s exactly the point: This process helps create an equitable, consistent experience for all candidates. We also require of our interviewers to complete inclusive interview training. It’s part of our commitment to creating a fair and inclusive experience for all employees, from the moment you apply.
What to do before your interview
When you interview for a job at Warby Parker, we want to set you up for success. To get a better idea of who we are, look through our latest Impact Report, explore our website, scroll our social channels, and visit a store if you have one near you. Also, spend some time preparing examples from your past and current professional experiences that demonstrate why you’re a good fit for this role.

At a glance
We offer extensive benefits and perks for all of our full-time employees, such as: health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off, a retirement savings plan with a company match, parental leave (non-birthing parents included), free eyewear (and discounts for friends and family), and lots more—just ask!
When you apply for a role, you’ll receive an email confirming that your application was successfully submitted. (If you don’t see that email in your inbox, try the old trick of checking your spam folder.)
If you’ve been selected to move forward to the next stage of the application process, a member of our People team will reach out to you via email. Keep your eyes peeled.
Workplace options depend on the individual role and are noted in each job post. Most roles will be in-person or hybrid, and select roles that are remote will include “remote optional” in the job title.
You’ll chat with members of our team who will evaluate your relevant skills for the role and the ways in which you embody our core values. It’s a great chance for our team to learn more about you and your qualifications, but also a good time for you to learn more about the role and the team. It’s a two-way street!
At this time we do not offer internships. However, if and when we do, internships will be posted on our Jobs page.
You can request accommodations through your recruiter. We want to make your interview process as seamless as possible.
We want you to feel professional but comfortable for your interviews, so we encourage you to wear what makes you feel like yourself. No need to wear a button-down or a blazer if that's not your style. If you’d like some extra sartorial guidance, check out our Instagram hashtag, #teamwarby, for a peek into life at Warby Parker (and what we wear to work).
Definitely not! We want you to bring your authentic self to work, whether that authentic self wears glasses or contacts—or happens to have 20/20 vision. Of course, if you have a pair of Warby Parker frames, we’d love to see you in them ;)
